The Havana Biennial is one of the most important contemporary art events in Latin America. Founded in 1984, this exhibition brings together artists from around the world to showcase their works in a variety of disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, video art, installation, performance and digital art.

Organized by the Wifredo Lam Contemporary Art Center, the biennial has become a key space for cultural exchange, where social, political and cultural issues of global relevance are explored, often from a critical perspective on the Latin American and Cuban context.

We are pleased to announce that in its 15th edition, our represented artist Alejandro Sanchez participates as a guest with an exhibition that will take place from November 15, 2024 to February 28, 2025. At Galería La Cometa we recognize his work and celebrate this very important recognition of his artistic achievements.
