To further strengthen the presence and reach of the gallery in Mexico, La Cometa opened its doors in Mexico City in 2019, in response to the growing local art scene. Artists Jim and Olga de Amaral were invited to inaugurate this new space, whose curatorial program addresses the two missions of La Cometa in recent years: highlighting modern art references and representing contemporary artists.
