With the aim of consolidating its relationship with the Mexican art scene and expanding the presence of Latin American artists in the region, Galería La Cometa is opening its Project Space in Mexico City.

La Cometa’s relationship with Mexico has been built over more than a decade through various engagements, including our participation in Zona Maco, as well as visits, collaborations with artists, and conversations with a cultural scene that has drawn us back time and again. This journey has allowed us to forge connections that are now taking on a new form.

The Project Space was created as a space for encounter, exploration, and the development of new proposals, collaborations, and projects in dialogue with the Mexican art scene. This new phase begins in 2026 with a collaboration with Mexican artists Marek Wolfryd and Anuar Mauad, with whom La Cometa has been building a relationship, and will continue to expand to include new artists and projects.
