We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Casa Enso during July 4, 5 and 6, where we will feature designer Simón Ballen with his collection "Suelo Orfebre" in dialogue with the exhibition "Spelaion" by our represented artist Adam Goldstein.

This collaboration will offer a unique opportunity to delve into the research of Simon Ballen, who has worked closely with the local community of Marmato in the creation of blown glass pieces from gold mining waste. The talk will be held on July 5 at 5:00 pm at La Cometa Medellin.

"Suelo Orfebre" is a contextual project that has its origins in the historic goldsmith region of Marmato, in Caldas. Simón Ballen collaborated with the local community and a glass blowing artisan to create a collection of objects using local materials such as bricks, stones and metal pieces. The vases, hand-blown on site, reflect the region's rich tradition of craftsmanship and innovation in the use of recycled materials.

This series of events promises to be an enriching experience, highlighting the synergy between contemporary design and traditional artistic practices, and underscoring the importance of sustainability in art and design.
