As the art month draws to a close with Art Basel Paris, we take a look back at ARTBO, the international contemporary art fair based in Bogotá, which celebrated its 20th anniversary at the end of September 2024 at the Agora convention center in the Ortezal district. For this edition, galleries from Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, the United States, France, the Dominican Republic and Panama took over the five floors of the building to present their artistic proposals.

With a focus on diversity and quality, ARTBO has become one of the spearheads of the Latin American art market. From established to emerging artists, here are a few of our favorites.

La Cometa

La Cometa presents an exhibition dedicated to Emma Reyes, a Colombian artist who has spent a large part of her life in France. A contemporary and friend of Frida Kahlo, her work is distinguished by its eclecticism, fusing influences from naive art, Mexican muralism, Indigenism and Expressionism.
