With the idea of consolidating the link with the European art scene and having a working space that helps to facilitate cultural exchanges between the two continents, La Cometa Madrid was officially inaugurated on April 11 with an exhibition of 5 contemporary Colombian artists who focus their work on reflecting on issues such as society, economy and environment.

The exhibition discusses aspects such as the incidence of oil in contemporary artistic production, mercantile exchanges and the dynamics of capitalism, or the position of vulnerability in which our natural wealth finds itself due to the different political and social processes in which the country finds itself.
