Galería La Cometa was founded 35 years ago to contribute to the development of the local art scene. Since then, the gallery has been a plural space whose management is focused on the representation, promotion and dissemination of mainly Latin American artists, which has consolidated it as one of the most influential artistic platforms in the region. Today, La Cometa has three offices in two countries: Colombia (Bogotá and Medellín) and Spain (Madrid). La Cometa is a project designed to facilitate relationships between the viewer, the work of art and the artists, from the different aspects of contemporary art. In addition, the gallery's program seeks to constantly include Latin American Modern Art references, which provide a fundamental context to current artistic production.
